The protest was organised by the Zagreb Is Calling You initiative, filmmaker and former presidential candidate Dario Jurican and the Green Action.
Despite the bad weather, the protest drew about 200 people disgruntled with the fact that, two and a half months since the 5.5 magnitude quake, there is still no real solution for dealing with the damage.
The protesters held pieces of mortar and valuables destroyed in the quake, demanding to be enabled to lead a dignified life as soon as possible.
Organisers said the protest was held because of the bad policy of the ruling HDZ party and Mayor Milan Bandic, claiming they left citizens in the lurch.
In their invitation to the protest, they said the government must adopt urgent measures to deal with the damage, including favourable bank loans for businesses and households, and that the measures should remain in force until the next parliament adopted a law on the reconstruction of Zagreb.
