Gov't closes border crossings for maritime passenger transport

The government decided on Monday to close permanent border crossings for maritime international passenger transport and to delay the opening of maritime borders in order to protect citizens from COVID-19.

The government decided on Monday to close permanent border crossings for maritime international passenger transport and to delay the opening of maritime borders in order to protect citizens from COVID-19.

The government amended a decree on border crossings at a conference call, closing them in Umag, Porec, Rovinj, Mali Losinj, Korcula and Ubli, and postponing the opening of those at Umag-ACI Marina, Novigrad, Sali, Bozava, Primosten, Komiza, Hvar, Vis, Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, Vela Luka and Cavtat.
